AtmosFuel is a next-generation system that creates carbon-neutral synthetic fuels directly from the air around us. By capturing atmospheric CO₂ and combining it with hydrogen from water, AtmosFuel produces drop-in liquid fuels like petrol, diesel, and kerosene — all without drilling for oil or releasing new carbon into the atmosphere.
Unlike fossil fuels, which add “new” carbon every time they are burned, AtmosFuel operates in a closed carbon loop. The carbon released from burning the fuel is the same carbon originally captured from the atmosphere, making the process carbon-neutral. With algae or biomass integration, AtmosFuel can even become carbon-negative, actively reducing greenhouse gases while producing energy.

How Does It Work?
The AtmosFuel process combines proven chemistry with cutting-edge automation:
CO₂ Capture – Direct Air Capture (DAC) pulls carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Hydrogen Production – Renewable-powered electrolysis splits water into hydrogen and oxygen.
Reverse Water-Gas Shift (RWGS) – CO₂ and hydrogen are combined to make carbon monoxide.
Fischer–Tropsch (FT) Synthesis – Hydrogen and carbon monoxide are converted into liquid hydrocarbons (fuels).
Distillation & Separation – Synthetic crude is refined into petrol, diesel, kerosene, and other fuels.
Every stage has been designed for maximum efficiency, with waste heat and water recycled back into the system.

Why AtmosFuel?
Ultra-Efficient System – Every joule of heat and drop of water is reused.
Fully Upgradeable – Modular design allows for add-ons like biomass integration, algae CO₂ scrubbers, AI optimisation, and concentrated solar thermal.
Carbon Neutral (or Negative) – The carbon cycle is balanced, and optional modules allow AtmosFuel to absorb more CO₂ than it emits.
Off-Grid Capable – Runs on solar, hybrid, or grid power depending on your location and your needs.
Drop-In Ready – Produces fuels that work in today’s cars, trucks, planes, and ships with no modifications.

System Size: 50–100 Litre/Day Pilot
The first step in our development is a pilot-scale AtmosFuel system producing 50–100 litres of fuel per day. This scale is ideal for research, demonstration, farms, and small off-grid applications or anyone wanting to produce their own fuels.
Approximate footprint:
6–8 m² (≈ 65–85 ft²) for the main process modules
Additional space required for solar panels if running off-grid
The pilot unit is small enough to fit in a large garage or small workshop, while still producing enough fuel to run generators, vehicles, or farm equipment.

Our Vision
AtmosFuel isn’t just about producing fuel. It’s about:
Decarbonising hard-to-electrify sectors like aviation, shipping, and heavy machinery.
Creating energy independence for farms, communities, and industries.
Building scalable pathways from small pilot systems to industrial plants capable of producing 5,000+ litres per day.
By supporting AtmosFuel, you’re helping pioneer a future where energy is not only abundant but also making fuels sustainable, local, and carbon neutral.
